Sylvania Township getting K9 officer | Community Spirit
SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - Sylvania Township Police will soon have a new member of the force.
Township Trustees unanimously approved a motion to fund the purchase of a police dog at a meeting on Tuesday.
The township will spend $20,000 for the dog, training and vehicle accessories.
There is no word yet on when the dog will begin service.
