SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Northview High School Hockey team is just one win away from playing for back to back state championships.  Northview took down Lakewood St. Edward 5-2 to win the school’s first state championship in hockey in 2012. 

The Wildcats will take on Powell Olentangy Liberty on Friday at 4 p.m. in the state semi final game.

The winner will go on to play either Shaker Heights or Rocky River in the state championship game on Saturday.

Both games will be played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.

Tickets for Friday’s game can be purchased in advance at the Northview High School main office. Adult tickets are $10 and students are $8. Tickets will be on sale from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day through Thursday.
